So many things have changed
Since you went and left this home
I've learned that I can be
Me without you
I wallowed in my shame
Felt sorry for myself
But eventually I learned
There was nothing I could do
I thought that I could change you
I needed to change
Didn't think I was good enough for you
I didn't know myself
I didn't know myself
But now I'll move on
Now I'll move on
I let you waste my time
Stood by while you lead me on
I didn't see the signs
Or who you really were
Saw no real value in myself
And let you hold me down
I let myself get comfortable
With a lack of self worth
I thought that I could change you
I needed to change
Didn't think I was good enough for you
I didn't know myself
I didn't know myself
But now I'll move on
Now I'll move on
I don't think we can
Ever be friends again
I gave you everything
You threw it away...

Excellent slice of hard edged pop punk, not disimilar to Four Year Strong at their best. Title track Drag Me Out has some brilliant gang vocals on the outro and is probably the song which demonstrates all the band's best attributes. Really excited to see where these guys could end up as this EP represents a step up from their previous work which was decent enough. sockwithaticket
