"What a night," she said to me,
"For staying under sheets."
Her and I, we could be
Cold out on the streets
But not tonight, not this time
We're holding off that scene
I close my eyes, hold on tight
But she slipped right through my reach.
And you're gone right through the wall
Never here at all, I can't keep playing this game
But you don't care at all
Say you cut it off then walk out once again (Walk out once again)
Then turn up in the pouring rain.
But I'm okay
Don't care what you say
You can't change my opinion of you anyway
Just disappear
Like you always do
Walk right through the walls and out of view
This bitter goodbye
Is sweet refuge
From the pieces of me that you took with you.
Excellent slice of hard edged pop punk, not disimilar to Four Year Strong at their best. Title track Drag Me Out has some brilliant gang vocals on the outro and is probably the song which demonstrates all the band's best attributes. Really excited to see where these guys could end up as this EP represents a step up from their previous work which was decent enough. sockwithaticket
